Ted Frankel is a corporate partner in Kirkland’s Chicago office. Ted primarily represents large and middle market buyout funds and their portfolio companies in domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, growth capital investments, PIPEs, recapitalizations, corporate restructurings and workouts. Ted has been responsible for structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing transactions in a variety of industries, including technology, software, media, healthcare, consumer products, retail, business and financial services, manufacturing, specialty chemicals, industrial products, material handling systems, logistics/transportation services and oil and gas services.

Ted was recognized by Law360 as a “Rising Star” in 2016.
