Riana Freedman is an intellectual property associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. While attending Georgetown University Law Center, Riana served as head teaching assistant for the Computer Programming for Lawyers courses and as a research assistant for work at the intersection of technology and the law. Throughout her law school career, she remained active in various pro bono efforts, including working as a pro bono legal research intern for the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence. Riana earned her B.S. and M.S. in computer science at Wake Forest University, where she has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science. Her technical experience extends to high performance computing, software development, and computer science education.
