The Department of Justice charged the client in a 15-count securities fraud, wire fraud, and tax fraud indictment, carrying a sentence of over 20 years in prison and fines and restitution of over $98 million. Achieved a dismissal with prejudice of the entire criminal case, as well as a dismissal of a related asset forfeiture case, returning over $4 million in seized funds.
Represented a technology entrepreneur in litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery arising out of the sale of his company to a well-known American multinational technology corporation.
Represented a payments company in Federal Trade Commission investigation and affirmative declaratory judgment claims against the Federal Trade Commission.
