Prior to joining Kirkland, Jake was involved in the following matters:

• ChampionX Corporation in its $7.8 billion sale to SLB.
• The Home Depot, Inc. in its $18.3 billion acquisition of SRS Distribution Inc. and its $4.3 billion acquisition of GMS Inc. 
• Brookfield Asset Management and affiliates in a number of transactions, including:
  • the $7.9 billion sale of Westinghouse Electric Company, a global leader in technologies and services to the nuclear power industry, by Brookfield Business Partners to a consortium involving Brookfield Renewable Partners and Cameco Corporation.
  • the $900 million acquisition of Fosber, a global leader in the design and production of advanced machinery, parts and services for the corrugated packaging industry.
  • the merger between Schoeller Allibert and IPL, creating an international sustainable packaging producer across Europe, the UK and North America with combined pro forma annual revenue of over $1.4 billion.
  • Brookfield Renewable’s sale of a 50% stake in its North American distributed energy platform.
  • Brookfield Renewable’s partnership with British Columbia Investment Management Corporation and Norges Bank Investment Management to launch Northview Energy.
• Advent International on its proposed takeover offer for Spectris. 
• Eutelsat on its $3.4 billion combination with OneWeb.
