Sophie’s practice focuses on advising private equity and financial sponsor clients and their portfolio companies on a broad range of corporate matters. Sophie has experience in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and general corporate advisory work.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Sophie was involved in the following matters:
TDR Capital on the carve-out acquisition of UK-based software escrow business Escode from global cybersecurity company NCC Group plc.
The Ardonagh Group and its shareholders, Madison Dearborn Partners and HPS Investment Partners, in the investment by funds managed by Stone Point Capital, valuing Ardonagh at $14 billion.
I Squared Capital and its portfolio company, EXA Infrastructure in the acquisition of Aqua Comms, an Ireland-based subsea infrastructure operator.
General Atlantic and Joe & the Juice on a minority investment by Emirates International Investment Company LLC, a subsidiary of United Arab Emirates-based National Holding LLC, in the global juice and coffee chain. The transaction valued Joe & the Juice at $1.8 billion.
