Keithan Hedrick is an antitrust & competition associate in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Keithan represents clients in sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions transactions. He is known for getting deals closed in the most efficient and effective way possible. Clients often describe Keithan's best talent as his ability to get things done.
Throughout his career, Keithan has served on Diversity Committees and Hiring Committees helping advance diversity initiatives within the legal profession. In addition, Keithan has served on several non-profit boards. He has been a member of the Rush Hospital Associates Board since 2016, and has served on the boards of Lutheran Child & Family Services, Black Men Lawyers Association, and Chicago Committee on Advancing Minority Attorneys. In addition, Keithan's pro bono efforts include serving as a guardian ad litem in the Cook County Family Courts. He has successfully tried a family law case.
Keithan's business acumen comes from being an entrepreneur and running successful businesses. He even pitched one of his businesses on the hit ABC TV Show, Shark Tank, to a panel of investors that included: Kevin Hart, Mark Cuban, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner, and Barbara Corcoran.
