Colin M. Herd is an antitrust and competition partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He represents clients in investigations of mergers and acquisitions and business conduct before the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division and Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and in antitrust and competition litigation. Prior to joining Kirkland, Colin served as a general attorney in the FTC’s Bureau of Competition, working on major merger and monopolization investigations and litigations. He has also litigated numerous monopolization cases in private practice, both for defendants and plaintiffs.
