• Represented Bain Capital in taking Toys-R-Us private with $6 billion in various credit facilities.

• Represented management company in obtaining $100 million in financing to take out minority equity investor.

• Represented Protection One (national security surveillance provider) with respect to $400 million in credit facilities and disposition of various real estate assets.

• Represents multiple middle market private equity clients with respect to leveraged acquisitions and dispositions.

• Represents multiple portfolio companies with respect to restructuring existing credit facilities and dispositions to pay down indebtedness.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Louis represented the following matters:

• Equity Lifestyles, Inc. in connection with $500 million in multiple credit facilities.

• EPIQ Systems, Inc. in connection with a $600 million senior secured credit facility.

• Arbitron, Inc. in connection with a $150 million revolving credit line.

• Valitas Health Services Inc. with the financing of a $250 million acquisition.
