Mia Johnson is a partner in the Investment Funds Group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where she focuses her time on client care-related matters, including strategy, project management and financial reporting.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Mia was the global practice manager of the Investment Management Group at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP for over 10 years. As practice manager, Mia was responsible for managing the day-to-day strategic and administrative operations of the global funds practice, including assisting with the implementation of strategic initiatives, acquiring and cultivating talent, facilitating with client care and business development programs, attending to personnel matters and overseeing and coordinating information management.
From 1996 to 2005, Mia was a corporate associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP where she advised many leading private equity firms on their fund formation matters.
