Overview

Chandler Jones is a corporate partner in the Houston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Chandler advises private equity firms, portfolio companies and a variety of other public and private businesses on a broad array of strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts and joint ventures, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Chandler worked on the following matters:

  • Blackstone in its $1.6 billion acquisition of Shermco, a leading provider of full life-cycle electrical equipment services
  • The parent company of EagleClaw Midstream, a Blackstone and I Squared Capital portfolio company, in a merger with Altus Midstream valuing the combined entity at $9 billion
  • Waste Management, Inc. (NYSE: WM) in its $7.2 billion acquisition of Stericycle, Inc. (NYSE: SRCL)
  • Crestwood Equity Partners LP (NYSE: CEQP) in its $7.1 billion sale to Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET)
  • Flogistix Holdings, LLC in the business combination of Flogistix, GEC Estis Holdings LLC and Flowco Production Solutions, LLC to form Flowco MergeCo LLC, which subsequently consummated an initial public offering
  • Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. in its acquisition of Mobile Energy Rentals LLC
  • Gravity Oilfield Services Inc. in the sale of its Gravity Water Midstream division to Delek Logistics Partners, LP
  • Tortoise Acquisition Corp. in the $1 billion business combination with Hyliion Inc., a developer and manufacturer of electrified powertrain solutions for Class 8 commercial vehicles that significantly reduce emissions
