Olga Kamensky is a partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She focuses her practice on advising private fund sponsors and asset managers on a wide range of legal, regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters arising under the Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act, Commodity Exchange Act and related federal securities laws and regulations, including:

  • SEC and CFTC registration, exemptions and ongoing compliance and disclosure;
  • fund formation and marketing;
  • self-assessments and internal investigations;
  • navigating SEC examinations, investigations, and enforcement actions; and
  • mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings involving asset managers.
