Brandon Karas is an associate in the Complex Securitizations Practice Group in the Dallas office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Brandon advises sponsors, issuers, borrowers and institutional investors on structured financings, including 144A and 4(a)(2) securitizations, warehouse facilities and other non-recourse transactions.
In addition, Brandon has a broad array of experience throughout the capital structure, having advised both debtor and creditor clients on reserve-based lending, asset-based lending, term lending, underwritten acquisition financings, second lien and mezzanine financings, and equipment finance transactions.
Before joining Kirkland, Brandon was an associate general counsel of corporate finance at Sunnova Energy International Inc. Prior to Sunnova, Brandon was a senior counsel at Stonebriar Commercial Finance LLC (n/k/a Eldridge Capital Management).
