Kim Kaufman

Kim Kaufman is an investment funds partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Kim’s practice covers the full scope of the registered funds industry, including open-and closed-end funds, tender offer and interval funds, exchange-traded funds and business development companies. Kim has significant experience advising investment company boards in both routine and special matters.

Kim’s practice focuses on the formation and offering of alternative investment products with an investment focus in private credit and private equity. She advises on the full range of fund operations, including seed capital, SEC and regulatory considerations, board matters and onshore and offshore distribution.

Kim’s representative clients include Ares, Fortress and Neuberger.
