Since joining Kirkland, Sham has worked on the following matters:

• GIC (sovereign wealth fund) on:
  
  • its joint venture with Melcombe Partners to acquire and develop urban logistics properties in Europe
  • the acquisition of a pan-European logistics portfolio for over €3 billion from EQT Exeter
  • its partnership with BlackRock Alternatives Real Estate, British Airways’ New Airways Pensions Scheme and REEF Group for the development of Tribeca, Kings Cross, London, a life sciences quarter
• Blackstone and the consortium consisting of Scape Living and iQSA on £969 million recommended cash offer for GCP Student Living plcs
• Bain Capital on management equity arrangements for the Engineering Group
• Apax Partners on the €350 million public-to-private of EcoOnline, a Norwegian SaaS provider listed on Euronext Growth
• Apax Partners and its portfolio company EcoOnline on the acquisition of the software division of UK-headquartered Alcumus, a provider of risk management solutions

Prior to joining Kirkland, Sham worked on the following matters:

• Assisting the management team of Deloitte’s restructuring arm on its sale to Teneo
• Assisting on a secondary fundraise by Supermarket Income REIT plc by way of a private placement, offer for subscription and placing programme
• Assisting on the acquisition by Graphite Capital of a software testing and quality engineering consultancy through a management buy-out
• A private Qatari investor on the acquisition of The Ritz
