Overview

Kathleen Kinsella is a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP with significant experience representing and advising Fortune 500 companies in high-stakes, commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts nationwide. Kathleen has extensive experience counseling and successfully representing clients in class action defense, breach of contract, insurance litigation and arbitration, environmental and natural resources litigation, constitutional law and alternative dispute resolutions. Kathleen represents clients in a broad array of industries, including high-profile bankruptcy and restructuring litigation.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Kathleen served for two years as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, where she worked on a variety of civil and criminal issues, including federal jurisdiction, violations of federal and state laws, data privacy, employment discrimination, civil rights, trademarks, contract disputes and consumer fraud.
