April Larkin is a corporate partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice focuses on advising private equity clients across various industries and their portfolio companies in all aspects of their businesses, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate counseling.
April has also advised private equity clients in the structure, formation, marketing, management and regulatory compliance of private equity funds, funds-of-funds and other investment vehicles, as well as the operational, legal and regulatory issues.
Previously, April represented institutional investors in connection with investments in private equity funds, hedge funds and other alternative vehicles, including the review and negotiation of investment documentation and side letters, as well as secondary transactions and co-investments. She also focused her practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters and general corporate law through representation of buyers and sellers in private M&A transactions.
