Michael Lee is a corporate partner in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on the formation, structuring, marketing, management and regulatory compliance of investment funds, as well as the operational, legal and regulatory issues faced by their sponsors. In addition, Michael counsels fund sponsors on internal economic and governance matters, including minority sale transactions. Michael also advises fund sponsors on fund-related aspects of M&A transactions, including deal structuring, co-investment arrangements and alternative investment structures.
