Victor Levy is a partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on the formation and ongoing representation of private equity funds.
Victor has extensive experience representing domestic and international fund sponsors in structuring and establishing private equity funds focused on a variety of strategies, in particular in the credit space (spanning all sub-strategies across the credit spectrum (e.g., direct lending, distressed debt, non-performing and performing traded debt, structured credit and special situations)), as well as real estate and related matters. He has extensive experience negotiating side letters and advising sponsors establishing managed accounts and funds of one, as well as with various investment structures. Victor also has experience advising sponsors structuring their internal compensation arrangements. Victor represents large, established managers sponsoring new funds, as well as high-quality emerging managers sponsoring first-time funds, to invest in US and non-US markets.
