Rebecca Lock is a partner in the Investment Funds Group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she focuses on structuring, negotiating and forming real estate funds and their management companies and related matters. Rebecca has represented numerous global real estate and other private equity fund sponsor in establishing open-end and closed-end investment funds, vehicles and other accounts, including programmatic joint ventures and co-investment deals, with a broad range of investment strategies.

Rebecca has been involved as legal counsel in a wide range of complex matters in the PE space, including extraordinary events involving real estate funds and their sponsors, such as high-stakes "key person" events, strategic investments in a fund sponsor and minority stake sales, seed capital and anchor investor arrangements and other significant matters and transactions.
