Overview

Sanjay Lohano is an antitrust and competition associate in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Sanjay advises clients on the full spectrum of competition law, including multi-jurisdictional, EU and UK merger control, foreign direct investment, cartel and abuse of dominance investigations and general competition law advice and compliance.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Sanjay was involved in the following matters:

  • PIF, Silver Lake and Affinity in their $55 billion acquisition of Electronic Arts, Inc. (EA), the largest take-private investment in history.
  • Consortium including Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) and EQT on its $33.4 billion acquisition of AES, the largest supplier of clean energy to corporations globally.
  • Vista Equity Partners and its portfolio company Playlist, including brands such as ClassPass, on its $7.5 billion merger with EGYM.
