Prior to joining Kirkland, Kate was a senior associate in the Private Credit Group at Proskauer Rose LLP, where she focused her practice on representing a diverse group of lenders, including private debt funds, business development companies, hedge funds, and small business investment company funds, in a variety of middle-market financing transactions and capital structures, including unitranche, senior cash flow, second-lien, secured and unsecured mezzanine, holdco, and other forms of private credit and junior capital finance. Kate has represented lenders investing in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, information technology, software, environmental, transportation, and consumer and financial services.
