Chris Mack is a litigation partner in the Salt Lake City office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Chris’ practice focuses on untangling and resolving complex commercial disputes for clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology, consumer products, life sciences, healthcare and financial services.
He has secured wins for clients across a broad range of disputes, including in product liability and mass tort litigation; consumer class actions; antitrust and unfair competition disputes; trade secret, non-compete and non-solicitation litigation; copyright infringement litigation, trademark infringement and false advertising litigation; shareholder derivative actions and corporate governance litigation; and appellate litigation.
Chris has represented clients in federal and state district and appellate courts, in arbitrations and before administrative tribunals. He has also obtained significant wins and dismissals for clients in multidistrict litigation and coordinated proceedings in both federal and state courts.
In addition to his experience in private practice, Chris has worked for each branch of the federal government, including clerking at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, clerking on the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, and serving as a judicial extern in federal court. Chris began his legal career clerking at the Utah Court of Appeals.
