Overview

Syed Madani is an associate in the Investment Funds Practice Group in Kirkland’s Chicago office, where his practice focuses on structuring and forming investment funds, ranging from first-time funds to those exceeding $2 billion. He advises U.S. and global sponsors across a wide variety of strategies, including leveraged buyout funds, credit funds, growth equity, venture funds and infrastructure funds. His experience spans the entire lifecycle of private capital sponsors, and he has counseled clients on fund formation, GP-led secondary transactions and co-investment arrangements. Syed has also advised institutional limited partner investors on various types of private equity transactions.
