Overview

George Manley is a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the Boston Office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. George is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice focuses on patent, trademark and false advertising litigation. George represents clients in complex disputes in federal court, at the U.S. International Trade Commission and in arbitration. He has experience in all stages of litigation, including pre-suit analysis, taking and defending depositions, discovery and dispositive motions, expert reports, trial preparation and presentation, and post-trial and appellate briefing.

George’s practice involves a wide range of technologies, including semiconductors, mobile devices, Wi-Fi components, pharmaceuticals and genetically modified crops. George has been an integral part of trial teams that successfully defended against nine- and ten-figure damages claims. He has also obtained permanent injunctions in federal district courts across the country.
