Philip Manning is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Philip focuses his practice on complex legal issues and he litigates appeals and dispositive motions in state and federal courts across the country. He also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Philip clerked for Judge David W. McKeague of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Philip graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as Senior Executive Editor of the Michigan Law Review.
