Overview

Daniel McQuade is an investments funds partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Dan concentrates his practice on representing domestic and international private fund sponsors in connection with structuring, negotiating, forming and operating private investment funds, including buyout funds, growth equity funds, debt funds, real estate funds and other private investment vehicles, including single asset funds and special purpose vehicles.

Dan routinely counsels sponsors on ordinary and extraordinary firm-wide and fund-specific economic, governance, transactional and operational matters including carry and fee plans, succession planning, product development, co-investments, secondaries, investor relations, compliance and strategic transactions, including minority sales of management company interests.
