Hurtigruten and its sponsor, TDR, on its multi-stakeholder recapitalization
Accell Group on its interim financing
A private credit fund on the €885 million refinancing of Grupo Dia
A private credit fund on its €1 billion investment in Grifols
The ad hoc group of major third-party financial creditors on the implementation of the restructuring of Steinhoff
Prior to joining Kirkland, Toby worked on the following matters:
Advising a bondholder group on the consensual restructuring of Convene Group, including the equitisation of its first and second lien debt
Advising Output Services Group and certain of its affiliates in connection with the UK aspects of its prepackaged Chapter 11 cases. In 2023, The M&A Advisor recognized the successful restructuring of Output Services Group as “Information Technology Deal of the Year” as part of its 17th Annual Turnaround Awards
Advising Blackstone on the financing of its $6.4 billion acquisition of Crown Resorts luxury hotel and casino portfolio in Australia
Advising Smurfit Kappa Group on the financing aspects of its proposed combination with WestRock, an American corrugated packaging company
Advising a special opportunities credit fund on its $50 million debt and equity investment in a European travel company
Advising a company on bespoke financings with credit fund SCIO Capital for the purchase and renting out of studio sites
Advising a U.S. healthcare company on a $40 million venture financing deal involving the issuance of equity warrants and a non-payment insurance policy
Advising Bridgepoint on the financing aspects of its acquisition of Achilles, a supply chain risk and performance management company
