Kareem Nizam is an associate in the Investment Funds Group in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Kareem advises private fund sponsors on the structuring, formation and ongoing operation of investment funds across a range of strategies. His experience includes advising on regulatory and compliance matters under the Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act and other federal securities laws. He also has experience representing clients in connection with Small Business Investment Companies (SBICs), including licensing, compliance and fund formation.
