Luke Norrell is an intellectual property associate in the Austin office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Luke has worked on high-technology patent disputes involving computer hardware, memory modules and semiconductors. These matters involve proceedings before United States District Courts and the International Trade Commission. Luke also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Luke served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable J. Campbell Barker of the Eastern District of Texas, who also sat by designation in the District of Delaware. While at the University of Texas School of Law, Luke served as Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal and as President of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Society. He was also an active member of the Honorable Lee Yeakel Intellectual Property Inn of Court.
