Overview

Lisa Nosal is an investment funds partner in the Boston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Lisa has a decade of experience representing registered investment companies and their investment advisers and boards of directors. Her clients have included traditional open-end and closed-end investment companies, tender offer and interval funds, exchange-traded funds and business development companies (BDCs). Lisa has extensive experience in the formation and ongoing representation of alternative products that provide retail access to private assets, such as funds of private equity funds, funds of hedge funds, private credit funds and registered hedge funds.

Lisa has counseled funds, their boards and advisers through a variety of extraordinary events, including corporate acquisitions and transactional matters, fund and adviser reorganizations and change of control matters, fund adoption transactions, activist pressure, SEC examinations and investigations and complicated liquidations.

Lisa serves on the Board of Directors of Mercy Home for Children, a nonprofit providing residential homes and other support services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New York.

Lisa’s representative clients include Ares, Blue Owl, Crescent Capital, First Eagle, Lord Abbett, Neuberger Berman and Polen Capital.
