Prior to joining Kirkland, Conor was involved in the following representative matters:

• Google for over a decade across many of the company’s major European and worldwide matters:
  • The Digital Markets Act (DMA) and other tech regulations.
  • A wide range of European and national antitrust investigations, including Google Shopping and the CMA’s Privacy Sandbox investigation and associated compliance programs.
  • All significant recent merger matters, including Google’s acquisition of Fitbit (named “Merger Control Matter of the Year – Europe” by Global Competition Review) and Google’s $32 billion acquisition of Wiz Inc. as well as several of the company’s Art. 14 DMA filings.
  • Litigation in the context its appeal of the Google Shopping decision to the General Court and European Court of Justice.
  • A range of other representations and advisory work, including in Australia, South Africa, India and South Korea.
• Booking Holdings on a range of matters including:
  
  • Compliance with the DMA and other tech regulations.
  • Litigating in the General Court against the Commission’s prohibition of the Booking/eTraveli deal.
  • A range of other counselling and regulatory questions in Europe and internationally.
• NVIDIA in merger proceedings before the European Commission leading to the unconditional authorization of its $6.8 billion acquisition of Mellanox, and in its proposed $40 billion acquisition of ARM.
• ASML for over a decade across a range of antitrust and counselling matters.
• IBM, PayPal, Stripe and a number of other technology firms on a range of competition law considerations.
• Medtronic in the 2026 spin-off and IPO of diabetes-business Minimed.
• Citigroup in several European and national investigations and litigations, including the European Commission’s investigations of alleged Yen Libor and Euribor rate manipulation and of conduct relating to Spot FX trading.
• UniCredit in its appeal of the European Commission’s Government Bonds Cartel decision to the General Court.
