Overview

Adam is a partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on structuring, forming and operating private investment funds ranging from first-time funds to multi-billion funds across a broad range of investment strategies and structures, including leveraged buyout funds, debt and credit funds, real estate funds, special opportunities funds and other private investment vehicles. He counsels fund sponsors on a variety of operational and management matters, including firm governance, compensation, succession planning, separation arrangements, regulatory compliance and other investment management matters. Adam also advises fund sponsors on co-investments, alternative investment vehicles, spin outs, restructurings and fund-related aspects of M&A transactions.
