Overview

Mike Pergler is a partner in the Investment Funds Group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he advises a variety of private fund sponsors on all aspects of their business and operations, including the formation and operation of investment funds, fund-related aspects of M&A transactions, co-investment programs, alternative investment structures, product and strategy expansion, investor relations, liquidity solutions, and internal governance, including governance matters and separation arrangements.

Mike has advised a wide variety of fund sponsors in connection with their fundraises ranging from a hundred million to tens of billions of dollars across a broad range of investment strategies, including leveraged buyout, strategic opportunity, healthcare, secondaries, credit, manufacturing, venture capital and GP stakes. He has also advised fund sponsors on the structuring and establishment of separate accounts and co-investment vehicles for a variety of U.S. and non-U.S. institutional investors and single asset continuation vehicles and asset-specific co-investment vehicles for portfolio acquisitions and liquidity.

In addition, he counsels prominent institutional investors in connection with their investments in venture, real estate and hedge funds.
