Caroline has worked on many pro bono prisoner civil rights cases by appointment through the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (EDPA) and Middle District of Pennsylvania (MDPA), including cases alleging excessive use of force and failure to provide medical care. Each such case has ended in a resolution favorable to the client.
In partnership with non-profit co-counsel, Caroline has litigated on behalf of a putative class of juveniles who were subject to physical abuse and deprived of an adequate public education at a residential school that was ultimately shut down by state authorities.
Caroline has also partnered with in-house counsel to provide small business assistance and resolve tangled titles and probate issues.
