Overview

Lily Rasel is an investment funds partner in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice focuses on the structure, formation, marketing, management and regulatory compliance of private equity funds, real estate funds, venture capital funds, funds-of-funds and other investment vehicles, as well as the operational, legal and regulatory issues faced by their sponsors.

Lily has over a decade of experience advising private fund sponsors in the United States, Japan and across Asia on the formation and operation of their funds and related vehicles, including with respect to complex structural considerations, bespoke investor arrangements, co-investments, upper tier management structuring and planning, and general ongoing support. She has worked on funds across a wide variety of strategies and industries, such as leveraged buyout, energy and infrastructure, technology, healthcare and agriculture.
