Overview

Jill Ross is an antitrust and competition partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She advises domestic and international clients on issues arising under U.S. antitrust law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, government investigations and business counseling. Jill represents clients before the antitrust enforcement authorities and assists them in navigating all aspects of the merger control process, including risk assessment, due diligence, negotiation of contractual terms, coordination of multijurisdictional notifications and advocacy efforts, and the resolution of government investigations involving transformative transactions presenting complex factual and legal issues. She has represented clients in a diverse range of industries, including health care, packaging, travel and hospitality, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, medical devices, automotive and industrial equipment, pulp and paper, media and publishing, food and beverage, and consumer products.
