Thomas Rukaj is a litigation associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on complex litigation, mass torts and commercial disputes. He has experience representing corporations in high-stakes product liability, toxic tort, and business litigation matters across state and federal courts.
In addition to his product liability work, Thomas has handled sophisticated real estate disputes and has successfully argued appellate matters on behalf of institutional and corporate clients.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Thomas was a member of the trial team that secured a defense verdict for Johnson & Johnson in Michelle Felton v. Johnson & Johnson, a case involving personal injury claims related to cosmetic talc products. He also has experience litigating asbestos-related claims and representing clients in multidistrict litigation proceedings.
