Overview

Brendan Ryan is a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Brendan has broad experience in all aspects of litigation and represents companies as both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of disputes. Brendan’s recent experience includes high-stakes class action, contract, real estate, employment, and toxic tort disputes, and he has represented clients in a variety of industries, including retail, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing.

Brendan received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated at the top of his class and served as an editor of the Law Review. Before joining Kirkland, Brendan clerked on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida for the Honorable Federico A. Moreno.
