Overview

Matthew Schaible is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He is a member of the Firm's ESG & Impact Practice Group, which advises some of the world's most sophisticated and dynamic private equity firms, corporations, and project sponsors and lenders on complex and evolving legal issues relating to ESG as they navigate the opportunities, compliance obligations and legal risks related to ESG and impact investing across the investment and operational life cycles.

Prior to joining the Firm, Matthew worked for nearly a decade in Washington, D.C., in LGBTQ advocacy, campaign, and technology spaces. While at Georgetown Law, he worked at the Human Rights Campaign, and served as a law clerk for the Office of the Deputy Attorney General and the White House Counsel's Office.
