Eric Scharphorn is a corporate partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Eric's practice focuses on the formation, structuring and operation of private equity funds and their management companies. In addition to fund formation matters, Eric has worked on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, franchise matters and general corporate governance.
