• Counsel to FTV Capital, in connection with the sale of a minority interest to Blackstone Strategic Asset Management.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Saif’s representative transactions included:

• Counsel in connection with succession planning and restructuring at several very large alternative asset managers, including to Dalio Family Office in the transition of Ray Dalio's control of Bridgewater to an operating board.
• Counsel to TPG, in the formation of the TPG Holdings platform, various investments by strategic investors (including sovereign wealth funds) in the TPG Holdings platform, various strategic initiatives and investments, and restructuring in connection with its initial public offering.
• Counsel to TPG Holdings in its minority, and subsequently control, investment in NewQuest Capital Partners.
• Counsel to TPG Holdings in its minority investment in Northstar Group.
• Counsel to TPG Holdings in its investments in Harlem Capital Partners, LandSpire Group and VamosVentures out of its TPG Next platform.
• Counsel to a large Asian private equity firm in a minority stakes sale.
• Counsel to a sovereign wealth fund in its joint venture with an airplane financing platform.
• Counsel to a large credit fund platform in its joint venture with CIT to provide senior secured financing.
• Counsel to Ian Snow, founder of SnowPhipps, including in connection with the formation of TruArc Partners, a successor to SnowPhipps.
• Structured and facilitated the world's first securitization of micro-finance receivables for BRAC in Bangladesh. Transaction was awarded International Financing Review Asia's Securitization of the Year 2006
