Overview

Kaitlin P. Sheehan is a litigation partner in Kirkland’s New York office. Kaitlin is a seasoned trial attorney who has successfully first-chaired multiple cases to verdict, including at trial, evidentiary hearings and private arbitrations. She represents and provides strategic counsel to a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, global financial institutions, professional services companies, sports and entertainment groups, and leading real estate developers.

Kaitlin is a trusted litigator who is relied upon to advise on legal and case strategy and manage complex commercial disputes across a wide range of civil and white-collar matters. In addition, she has successfully argued significant dispositive motions, handled key pre- and post-trial issues, deposed and defended numerous fact and expert witnesses, managed complex e-discovery, and led critical and complex legal briefing and related research.

Kaitlin also maintains an active pro bono practice and was recognized by the judges of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois with an award for excellence in pro bono service.
