Blake Sherry is a debt finance associate in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP.
Blake acts for sponsors in fund finance transactions across different fund sizes, investment strategies and jurisdictions. He regularly advises on the complete spectrum of fund financing products – including capital call/subscription lines, NAV facilities, hybrid facilities, GP facilities, SMA financings, the financing aspects of M&A transactions and more bespoke liquidity solutions.
Blake has secondment experience at a leading private equity firm and prior to joining Kirkland, has secondment experience as general counsel for a fund. Before joining Kirkland and focusing on fund finance, Blake was a finance lawyer with experience in special situations and restructuring, acting for sponsors, lenders and noteholders in large scale reorganisations and distressed debt financings.
