Catherine Simes is a corporate counsel in the Tokyo office of Kirkland & Ellis (Gaikokuho Kyodo Jigyo). She has advised private equity sponsors and strategic investors in the structuring and negotiation of leveraged buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, co-investments, divestitures and minority investments across multiple industries. She has also advised private equity clients and their portfolio companies on general corporate governance matters.
