Overview

Jacob Smith is an associate in Kirkland’s Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice Group based in the New York office. He advises public and private companies on the compensation aspects of transactions and the design of executive compensation arrangements.

Jacob received his J.D. from Tulane University Law School. During law school, Jacob studied corporate, international and comparative law in Germany, France and Greece, including at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. Jacob also holds an LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law and was a member of the Moot Court program at Tulane.
