Robbert Snelders is an antitrust and competition partner in the Brussels office of Kirkland & Ellis.

He has extensive experience over three decades in EU and worldwide merger control proceedings, cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, as well as litigation before national courts and the European Courts.

Robbert is recognized as a leading antitrust lawyer by Chambers Global and Chambers Europe, The Legal 500 and similar publications. He is co-editor and co-author of a leading treatise entitled, Abuse of Dominance Under Article 102 TFEU, teaches a course on the interface of antitrust and IP at Maastricht University and is a member of the Scientific Council of the College of Europe’s Global Competition Law Center.
