Overview

Jamie Spring is an associate in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP.

Jamie has experience in a broad range of corporate matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, group reorganisations, private equity transactions and general corporate advisory work.

Since joining Kirkland, Jamie has worked on the following matters, advising:

  • Francisco Partners on its capital raise and minority stake sale in the EG Group.
  • Sani/Ikos Group in its strategic partnership agreement with GIC.
  • EQT in its acquisition of SPT Labtech, a manufacturer and designer of automated instruments and consumables for life sciences research.
  • Bain Capital Credit on the acquisition of Cypriot Credit Acquiring Company holding a portfolio of non-performing corporate, SME and consumer and mortgage loans from the National Bank of Greece.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Jamie worked on the following matters, advising:

  • Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 6 on its acquisition of Ireland’s largest waste company, Beauparc Utilities Holdings Limited; and
  • Left Lane Capital and Partners of DST Global on their $76 million Series A funding round in Wayflyer Limited, one of Europe’s fastest growing Fintech startups.
