Lara Steinbach is an associate in the Antitrust and Competition Team in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP.
She advises on competition law and regulatory matters, including multijurisdictional, EU and German merger control and cartel investigation.
Her practice focuses on foreign investment screening in an international context. Lara has extensive experience related to German foreign direct investment control, interacting with the Federal Ministry for Economics and Energy.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Lara practiced in Brussels and Berlin. She has been involved in matters before the European Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office and various other national competition authorities and national foreign investment authorities.
