Ashley Stewart is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice focuses on government and internal investigations, antitrust litigation and complex cross-border disputes. She has served clients in a wide range of industries, including technology, financial services and digital assets. Ashley has experience with matters before the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and congressional committees.
Before joining Kirkland, Ashley was a federal lobbyist and law clerk at Steptoe LLP. She advised clients on a variety of legislative and regulatory matters, including energy, healthcare, campaign finance and consumer protection.
Prior to studying law, Ashley provided strategic messaging and organizing for candidates seeking federal office, including the campaigns of Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton.
