Ashley Stewart is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Ashley’s practice focuses on government investigations and complex litigation. She has experience advising clients in connection with federal investigations, including preparing executives for their appearance before Congress and agencies.
Before joining Kirkland, Ashley was a federal lobbyist and law clerk at Steptoe LLP. She advised clients on a variety of legislative and regulatory matters, including energy, healthcare, campaign finance and consumer protection.
Prior to studying law, Ashley provided strategic messaging and organizing for candidates seeking federal office, including the campaigns of Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton.
