Since joining Kirkland, Gautam has worked on the following matters:

• Advising Clayton, Dubilier & Rice on the consensual recapitalization deal for its portfolio company, Vialto Partners.
• Advised Consolis Group on its successful recapitalization and several rounds of bridge financing.
• Advised Spanish steel manufacturing company Celsa on a revolving credit facility entered into post successful restructuring using a Spanish Restructuring Plan procedure.
• Advised WeWork, Inc. and its debtor affiliates on the English law aspects of its debtor-in-possession financing under its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
• Advised Triton’s Arvos Group on a successful restructuring via an English scheme of arrangement.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Gautam worked on the following matters:

• Advising the financing sources in connection with the financing of Apollo’s €1.23 billion bid for Applus Services SA.
• Advising the revolving facility creditors on the financing for EQT’s £4.6 billion cash offer to acquire Dechra Pharma plc.
• Advising General Atlantic on the intended combination of Qontigo and ISS (both majority-owned by Deutsche Börse), with General Atlantic becoming the sole minority shareholder of the combined Qontigo entity.
• Represented the committee of creditors in the insolvency resolution process of Jet Airways (India) Limited.
• Represented the resolution professional in the insolvency resolution process of Essar Steel (India) Limited.
• Represented the committee of creditors in the insolvency resolution process of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd.
• Represented the committee of creditors in the insolvency resolution process of Aircel Limited.
